This is a very hard subject. While I am against ILLEGAL immigration, I feel that these people deserve the same education everyone else is getting. We are, after all America--the Melting Pot. The students weren't "illegal" immigrants, and nor was the film about that.

Such a great film!! Inspiring for me to take action and encourage the knowledge of self and culture for the minorities. A bit upsetting simply because these students were really learning something that was the opposite of indoctrination, rather than what the majority of the school system has ...Read more

This film puts in evidence the contradiction between rhetoric and practice of politicians in the USA about education policies. It also shows the effort of a community to be listened and validated.

Our family lived in AZ for 4 years, and we're glad to be out of the state. We would never want our daughter in their extreme right wing school system.
